Planetworks is an award-winning global architecture practice dedicated to creating intelligent, high-functioning buildings. We apply systems thinking to transform complex constraints into architecture that is elegantly resolved, culturally attuned, and economically sound. Our methodology is inspired by emergent systems, where form and diversity arise from simple rules and adaptation to context. We use systems thinking to decode complexity—balancing competing forces like site constraints, user needs, and environmental performance. This approach replaces arbitrary design with clarity and logic, producing architecture that is grounded in problem-solving and focused on maximizing a site’s potential.

Each project is shaped by four interrelated lines of inquiry that guide our thinking and expand the possibilities of architectural expression:

Biology -
